Getting Started
Get up and running with R's DocManager in minutes.
Creating Your Account
- Click "Get Started" on the landing page
- Fill in your details: full name, email, and password
- If you have an Organization Code, enter it in the Organization Code field
- Click "Create Account"
With an Organization Code
If you enter an organization code during registration:
- Your account is created with pending approval status
- A Super Admin of that organization must approve your membership
- You will see a confirmation message asking you to wait for approval
- Once approved, you can log in and access the dashboard
Without an Organization Code
If you register without an organization code:
- Your account is created immediately and you are logged in
- You won't belong to any organization yet
- You can join an organization later from Settings → Join Organization
- A banner on the dashboard will prompt you to join an organization
Becoming a Super Admin
Super Admin access is granted by the platform administrator. To request Super Admin privileges, contact rs4101976@gmail.com with your account details.
Logging In
- Go to the Sign In page
- Enter your email and password
- You will be redirected to your dashboard (if approved)
- If your membership is still pending, you'll see a pending approval page
Your Dashboard
After logging in, you will see:
- Recent documents for quick access
- Document count and organization info
- Quick actions to create or browse documents

Setting Up AI
- Click your profile icon then AI API Keys
- Select a provider: Groq (free tier), OpenAI, or Anthropic
- Paste your API key and save
- Keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage
Note: Local tools (Word Count, Structure Analysis, Preview) work without any API key.
Your First Document
- Click "New Doc" in the navigation bar
- Choose Upload (drag and drop a file) or Write (Markdown editor)
- Add a title (required) and optional description, tags
- Set the status: Draft, Under Review, Published, or Archived
- Set the classification: Organization, Public, Internal, Confidential, or General
- Set the access level: View Only, Comment, Edit, or Full Access
- Optionally assign reviewers (for Under Review status) and reference other documents
- Click "Create Document"
Your First Page
Pages are the Notion-style block editor for notes, specs, and wikis — no file upload required.
- Go to Dashboard → Pages
- Click New page in the sidebar
- Start typing — changes are saved automatically
- Optionally add an emoji and a cover image from the header
- Click Share to change who can see the page (Private, Organization, Role, Restricted, or Public link)
- Invite specific teammates by email with view / comment / edit / full access permissions
To bring existing notes in, click Import in the sidebar and upload a .md file (up to 2 MB). See the Pages guide for the full visibility model and permission rules.
Understanding Document Tabs
After creating documents, you can find them in different tabs:
- Published: documents with status Published
- Drafts: your own draft documents
- Review: documents with status Under Review
- Archived: your own archived documents
- For Me: documents where you are assigned as a reviewer
